Caballa continued his dominance in duals this season, going 5-0 between Eastern Oregon’s face-off against Embry-Riddle and the team’s showing at the CCC/GPAC duals. Caballa, ranked No. 4 at 125 pounds, defeated a trio of top-20 ranked opponents, including No. 5 Jonas Gaytan of Midland, No. 12 Devin Phaly of Morningside (via a first round pin), and No. 18 Joshua Nira of Embry-Riddle. With Caballa leading the way, the Mountaineers claimed victories in a pair of duals, including a triumph over (RV) Concordia.
