Beltz won the long jump in a 49-person field at the Hornet Invite with the NAIA's top mark this season, an automatic qualifying mark of 24’ 8.5”. The senior from Elmira, Ore. then proceeded to hit the NAIA 'B' standard in the triple jump and landed at No. 2 on the NAIA performance list at 47’ 5.75”.
