Windeler continues to make UBC history on the mound. The Thunderbirds' junior pitcher threw a 106-pitch no-hitter Saturday against Oregon Tech. Windeler struck out 10 Owl batters and surrendered no walks. In fact, he was nearly perfect, facing the minimum of 27 batters, with just one getting on base via an error. That base runner was then forced out in an ensuing double play. It is the first solo, nine-inning no-hitter in UBC history. With the win, he improves to 4-3 on the season with a 3.27 ERA.
