Fifth-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Kiley McMurtrey was named the Red Lion Volleyball Defender of the Week for the sixth time this year.
 
The 5-foot-3 junior defensive specialist from Idaho Falls, Idaho, eclipsed 20 digs in both matches this week, averaging 24. McMurtrey had 25 digs in the five-set win over No. 7 Corban. She also had two service aces to lead EOU to a 21-1 overall record and grab its 10th win in a row.
