Southern Oregon University’s Kelly Gieber was named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
The 5-foot-11 senior defender from Bend, Ore., helped the Raiders hold their opponents to two combined shots on goal on the weekend. Gieber also set up the game-winner against College of Idaho, giving him 17 career assists - the most for any Raider in the five-year history of the team.
