College of Idaho’s Mackenzie Royce-Radford was named the first Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
The 5-foot-8 senior guard from Middleton, Idaho, led the Yotes in scoring in two of their first three games. She opened the season with 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting in a battle at No. 7-ranked Carroll College. She followed with a 14-point (5-for-11) performance to against Montana Western and nine points at Montana Tech – both teams are receiving votes in the preseason NAIA Coaches’ Poll.
