No. 9-ranked Southern Oregon University’s Taylor Ristvedt was named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week for the third time this year.
Ristvedt, a 6-foot-2 senior right-side hitter from Portland, helped SOU sweep the Eastern Oregon University/College of Idaho trip – a feat no other CCC team has accomplished since 2005 – for the second year in a row. She had six kills in the tiebreaker set of SOU's win at third-ranked EOU to put the Raiders back in a tie for first place in the conference. With one error at C of I, Ristvedt helped the team to a .393 attack average. Her performance on the week moved her up two spots to No. 2 on SOU's career kills list (1,242).
