Northwest Christian University’s Makenna Northern was named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week for the second time this year.
 
The 5-foot-9 sophomore setter from Brownsville, Ore., broke the NCU single-season assist record on Saturday night. Northern also posted four kills on dump sets without an attack error and led the hitters to a .226 attack percentage over the weekend as NCU climbed to a fifth-place tie with C of I. Beacons have now won six-of-seven.
