No. 19-ranked Corban University’s Matheus Giron was named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
 
A 5-foot-9 junior midfielder from Sao Pailo, Brazil, Giron starred in Corban's historic weekend, earning his third and fourth braces of the season to propel the Warriors to the CCC Regular-Season Title. Giron provided the game-winner in Sunday's championship match with RMC, before adding some insurance with a penalty kick early in the second half. In total, Corban's leading goal scorer (13) ended the weekend with four goals and an assist.
