No. 2-ranked UBC’s Kate Johnston was named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week for the second time this year.
 
Johnston, a senior from Ayr, Ontario, Canada, led the Thunderbirds at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, a tournament hosted by the University of Hawaii. With the exception of British Columbia, the entire field consisted of NCAA Division I programs and players. Johnston tied for 27th with a three-round total of 7-over-par 223 (76-77-70). UBC finished 11th in the team competition.
