Warner Pacific University’s Kadeem Strickland was named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
The 5-foot-10 junior guard from Portland is averaging 18.6 points per game, leading the Knights in scoring through only five games. Strickland shot 43.3-percent from the field, including 43.5-percent from three-point range, and 80-percent from the free throw line over the two games. He only had one turnover in 67 minutes of play, while also grabbing four steals.
