Eastern Oregon University’s Jonah Coats was named the Red Lion Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Coats, a junior heptathlete from Valdez, Alaska, took fourth at the Lauren McCluskey Multis out of 18 athletes. He crushed his personal record with a score of 4,435 points, which ranks him seventh all-time at EOU. Coats placed second individually in the pole vault and long jump events.
