Southern Oregon University’s Dominique Harding was named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The five-foot-nine sophomore guard from Reno, Nev., established a new career-high with 28 points against No. 22 Northwest Christian University, hitting the game-tying three-pointer with one minute, 56 seconds to go and the game-winning bucket with 1.7 seconds on the clock. She led team in points (19), rebounds (six) and assists (five) vs. Oregon Tech, and hit game-tying free throws with 1:09 left. She finished the week averaging 18.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game, while boasting a 53.8 shooting percentage.
