Southern Oregon University’s Joseph Dotson was named the Red Lion Men’s Field Athlete of the Week.
 
The senior from Florence, Ore., scored 4,873 in his indoor heptathlon season debut, landing at No. 5 on the NAIA performance list. Dotson had a two-second personal record in the 1K finale with a time of two minutes, 41.5 seconds for 857 points.
