Eastern Oregon University’s Megan Bolton was named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, her second honor of the year.
The sophomore from Reno, Nev., broke her fourth record in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 24.88 seconds to win the event. Teammate Jasmine Devers set the record earlier this year in 25.18, but Bolton was able best that and automatically qualified for nationals with the time. She ran the second-fastest prelim time out of 76 runners before defeating NCAA DI and DII competition in the finals. Bolton also ran on the 4x400 relay team that had an auto mark to nationals.
