UBC’s Jackson Valcke was named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
The six-foot-one junior outfielder led UBC offensively as the Thunderbirds earned a weekend split at No. 19 Lewis-Clark State College. He hit .500 with eight hits in 16 at-bats. Valcke scored six runs and drove in another four. The redshirt junior leads UBC with a .366 batting average.
