Southern Oregon University’s Gabby Sandoval was named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week, her second honor of the year.
 
The five-foot-three senior pitcher from Anaheim, Calif., established a new CCC career record for pitching wins, improving to 86-17 lifetime and winning all three conference counters against Northwest Christian University. She brought her season record to 9-0 and dropped her ERA to 1.57 after getting her 26th and 27th career shutouts.
