College of Idaho’s Jalen Galloway was selected as the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Galloway, a 6-foot-7 junior forward from Meridian, Idaho, led the No. 8-ranked Coyotes to a 79-70 victory over Montana Tech to open the season. He scored 24 points in 31 minutes, grabbing five rebounds and assisting once. Galloway finished with a .727 field goal percentage on 8-for-11 shooting, including a perfect 4-for-4 performance from three-point range
