Northwest University’s Leon Bormann was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Bormann, a five-foot-nine senior defender from Shoreline, Wash., anchored the back line for the Eagles and also scored a goal in the Eagles’ 5-2 victory over Multnomah University in non-conference action.
