Concordia’s Bo Johnson has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
Johnson, a senior from Toledo, Ore., took first place in the weight throw at the University of Washington Indoor Preview on Saturday with a 58-11 1/4 (17.96m) toss. Johnson finished more than two feet farther than the runner-up from NCAA DI Eastern Washington (56-8). His mark is also good for the NAIA indoor ‘A' standard and is currently ranked No. 3 on the NAIA performance list.
