Eastern Oregon University’s Nick Jennings was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Jennings, a six-foot-two sophomore right-handed pitcher from Vancouver, Wash., pitched a complete game in the second game of the series against the College of Idaho. He had 10 strikeouts, allowed three walks and threw 136 pitches in his first career win at EOU, also helping the Mounties pick up their first win since 2006.
