No. 13-ranked Corban University’s Avari Ridgway was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, her second honor of the season.
Ridgway, a six-foot-one junior outside hitter from McMinnville, Ore., had a ridiculous weekend offensively, tallying double-digit kill counts in each of her four matches for the Warriors. With the weekend factored in, her season attack percentage is now an impressive .357, as she attacked at a .500 clip or above in three of the team's four matches on the weekend. She leads the CCC with 3.81 kills per set and averaged 3.86 kills per set over the four matches with a .402 average attack percentage.
