No. 8-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Kiley McMurtrey was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week for the second week in a row.
 
McMurtrey, a five-foot-three senior defensive specialist/libero from Idaho Falls, Idaho, became the all-time career leader in digs at EOU in the first match win against Warner Pacific University and now has 1,939 career digs. She posted double-figure digs in every match for the weekend and had five service aces over the four-match span.
