No. 25-ranked College of Idaho’s Annie Polster was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Softball Pitcher of the Week, her second honor of the year.
 
Polster, a five-foot-five freshman pitcher from West Richland, Wash., struck out a career-high 11 batters in the Game 1 win over Carroll College, adding a three-hitter in the Game 3 win to clinch the series sweep. She finished the week with 12 strikeouts, allowing just one earned run.
