Eastern Oregon University’s Olivia Lane was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Lane, a senior from Clarkston, Wash., hit the "A" qualifying standard in EOU’s home meet and was overall winner in the heptathlon. She finished with a score of 4,099 after running the 100-meter hurdles in 17.07 seconds, the 200-meter in 27.55 seconds and the 800-meter in 2:31.85. She also posted marks of 1.48-meters in the high jump, 10.29-meters in the shot put, 5.26-meters in the long jump and 25.69-meters in the javelin.
