Bushnell University’s Makenna Northern was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Week, her fifth honor of the year.
 
Northern, a five-foot-nine junior setter from Brownsville, Ore., led the Beacon offense to a combined .405 attack percentage on the weekend. She posted 76 assists over the two matches to average 12.67 assists per set. Northern also had 2.83 digs and 1.00 blocks per set averages to lift Bushnell twice over Warner Pacific University.
