No. 23-ranked College of Idaho’s Trystin Crofts was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Softball Player of the Week for the second time this year.
Crofts, a five-foot-five senior third baseman from Tooele, Utah, had a record-breaking series against Warner Pacific University, going a combined 8-for-13 with six runs scored. Over the weekend, she established C of I's new school record for triples in a career (13) and hits in a career (219), while tying the school record with 120 RBI. Crofts finished the weekend batting .615 with a .769 slugging percentage.
