Lewis-Clark State College’s Clayton VanDyke was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, his first outdoor honor and third honor overall.
VanDyke, a senior from Vernal, Utah, dominated in the 800m at the Bucs Scoring Invitational, winning the event with the sixth-fastest time in the NAIA. He hit an ‘A’ standard and was .21 seconds off the school record. VanDyke also anchored the men's 4x400m relay team that broke the school record.
