No. 5-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Brock Ephan was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Baseball Player of the Week for the third week in a row and fifth time this season.
 
Ephan, a six-foot-four senior infielder from Kalaheo, Hawaii, hit a staggering .692 in the three-game CCC Baseball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank. The 2021 CCC Player of the Year was 5-for-5 in the title game and drove in six runs. He finished the weekend slugging .846 with nine hits, two walks and scored two runs himself.
