No. 17-ranked Oregon Tech’s Maggie Buckholz was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Softball Player of the Week for the second time this year.

Buckholz, a five-foot-seven sophomore right fielder from Silverton, Ore., had a great weekend at the plate, including a three-run back-breaking home run over top-ranked SOU that pushed the Tech lead from 2-0 to 5-0. She finished the CCC Softball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, batting .538 with seven hits, three runs and four RBIs.
