Bushnell University’s Makenna Northern was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Week.
 
Northern, a junior setter from Brownsville, Ore., led the Beacons – who are receiving votes in the NAIA – to a 4-0 week. She finished with 115 assists to average 8.85 assists per set, helping Bushnell only drop one set on the week. Northern posted 31 assists, eight digs, six kills (.667), and three blocks against William Jessup, while adding 28 assists against Simpson University and 29 assists against Menlo College. She also had 27 assists, five digs and two blocks against UC Merced.
