Northwest University’s Megan Horne was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Horne, a senior middle blocker from Albany, Ore., helped the Eagles open Cascade Collegiate Conference action with two wins to be one of five teams to start the conference season undefeated, while also grabbing a non-conference victory during the week. She averaged 5.1 points per set, swinging .387 for the week with 4.73 kills per set. In NU’s win over Multnomah University, Horne hit at an impressive .500 with 21 kills and also came up with three stuffs at the net.
