College of Idaho’s Payton Anderson was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Anderson, a senior defender from Boise, Idaho, was the anchor at the left back position for a C of I defense to help the Coyotes post a pair of road shutouts to close non-conference play. She also pushed forward for a pair of assists, including grabbing the game-winning assist in overtime at Linfield.
