College of Idaho’s Kahea Figueira was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
 
Figueira, a freshman from Spokane, Wash., earned the individual title in her collegiate debut at the Central Washington Invite. She covered the 4,000-meter distance in a time of 15 minutes, 33 seconds – one of only 4 racers in the event under 16:00 – and helped C of I to the team victory.
