Lewis-Clark State College’s Cassidy Nelson was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
 
Nelson, a junior outside hitter from South Jordan, Utah, led the Warriors with 43 kills in three matches this past week. The senior had back-to-back matches with at least 17 kills, including 17 in the five-set victory over Northwest University, and 19 in the sweep of The Evergreen State College. She had seven kills on seven swings against Walla Walla University to start the week, and tallied six aces across the matches. Her 19 kills were a season-high, as was her four aces on Friday.
