Northwest University’s Kierstin Patefield was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Patefield, a grad goalkeeper from Puyallup, Wash., made eight saves to grab a shutout on the road at Carroll College. She anchored the defense for 110 minutes, helping the Saints post a 0-0 draw.
