Southern Oregon University’s Moises Hernandez was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Hernandez, a sophomore defender from San Luis Obispo, Calif., played all 180 minutes on the backline as SOU turned in back-to-back clean sheets and only allowed four shots on goal over the weekend. He also assisted the game-winning goal against Eastern Oregon University (1-0) and scored the insurance goal against College of Idaho (2-0).
