Lewis-Clark State College’s Alexandra Schmidt was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Schmidt, a senior from Regina, Saskatchewan, took first at the Bushnell University Invitational with a two-round score of 147 (71-76). Schmidt's round consisted of five birdies, nine bogeys and four pars on Monday as she battled through some adversity. She ran off four birdies in a row on the front nine, but also had four bogeys, for a 36, and then had four consecutive bogeys on the back side and wound up with a 40.
