No. 7-ranked Corban University’s Avari Ridgway was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Ridgway, a junior outside hitter from McMinnville, Ore., tallied 28 kills, averaging 4.67 kills per set, in six sets on the week. On Friday, Ridgway (17 kills, .667 attack percentage) accounted for more than a third of Corban's 45 kills to lift the Warriors 3-0 over Walla Walla University. Ridgway finished conference play as the leader in hitting percentage with .311 on the regular season.
