Menlo College’s Rysan Leong was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Leong, a sophomore 165-pound wrestler from Kailua, Hawaii, helped the Oaks pick up a win over Vanguard University in dual action. The unranked grappler battled top-ranked Ricky Padilla in arguably the bout of the season. Neither wrestler could score a takedown in regular or extra time, bringing the decision down to riding time, which Leong had to earn the 3-2 decision.
