Northwest University’s Sam VanLoo was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
VanLoo, a senior post from Lynden, Wash., helped NU grab two wins on the week, averaging 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. She finished the week shooting 70.6-percent from the floor, including an 87.5-percent performance in the Eagles’ 62-51 victory over Pacific Lutheran. VanLoo also had five assists, six blocks and a steal on the week.
