Multnomah University’s Tyrese Taylor was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Taylor, a sophomore from Copperas Cove, Texas, gave the Lions a huge presence in the paint in their two CCC wins this week. Taylor averaged 28.5 points and 11 rebounds per game, including posting a career-high 30 points in MU’s 97-85 victory over The Evergreen State College. Taylor’s play in the post gave the Lions their first ever four-game winning streak in the CCC.
