No. 3-ranked Southern Oregon University’s Sienna Ramirez was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Wrestler of the Week for the second time this year.
Ramirez, a senior 155-pound wrestler from Lakewood, Wash., defeated four top-15 opponents in leading SOU to a third-place finish at the NWCA National Dual Meet Championships. Included in her run was a 4-1 decision over second-ranked Destinee Rivera of Life (Ga.). Ramirez, who is the top-ranked 155-pounder in the NAIA, finished the weekend with two technical falls and two decisions.
