(RV) Lewis-Clark State College’s Callie Stevens was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Stevens, a sophomore guard from Puyallup, Wash., had another strong weekend for the Warriors, scoring at least 20 points in both contests. She scored a career-high 27 points and dished out five assists in the victory over Corban University, then scored 20 points the next night against a strong Bushnell University team. She averaged 23.5 points over the weekend, dealt eight total assists, had four steals, and shot 50-percent from the floor. Stevens drained six three-pointers and shot .462 from three-point range and was 9-for-12 (.750) from the free throw line.
