Corban University’s Mateo Eschiek was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Eschiek, a junior guard from Dallas, had an incredible weekend to lift the Warriors to two road victories. He scored 25 points against No. 20-ranked Lewis-Clark State College and grabbed seven rebounds. The next night he added 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting and grabbed five rebounds. Eschiek finished the weekend averaging 18.0 points per game on 50-percent shooting and had three assists and four steals.
