Lewis-Clark State College’s Madigan Kelly was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row.
Kelly, a freshman from Lewiston, Idaho, continued to break records in the 60-meter hurdles and grabbed an automatic-qualifying time this weekend. She got better with each race, finishing the prelims with a time of 8.96 seconds before crossing in 8.92 seconds in the final to win the event. The mark is a program record and solidifies her spot at nationals. It is the 10th-fastest time in the NAIA this year and the top time in the CCC.
