No. 22-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Callie Stevens was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this year.

Stevens, a senior guard from Puyallup, Wash., is the CCC’s leading scorer and improved her points per game average over the weekend to help lead the Warriors to two big victories. She averaged 28.5 points between the two contests, with 27 in the win over College of Idaho, and a career-high 30 points in the biggest win of the season against Eastern Oregon University, which previously held the top spot by itself in the conference standings. Stevens shot an efficient 63.6-percent from the floor and 42.9-percent from three-point range. She went 9-for-10 from the free throw line and drained six treys. Stevens also dished out nine assists and had three steals. Saturday's victory put LC State in a tie for first in the CCC and earned head coach Brian Orr his 500th-career win.
