Lewis-Clark State College’s Trent Sellers was named the WVT Laboratory Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Sellers, a junior right-handed pitcher from Kennewick, Wash., earned a win and a save this week to help the Warriors to a pair of victories. He came into a tight situation against No. 23 Benedictine Mesa and struck out two in one inning to earn the save. Sellers then started game one of a doubleheader with NCAA Division III Whitman on Sunday and earned the win after striking out seven in five innings. He did not allow a run or walk in either appearance and gave up just two hits.
