No. 21-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Callie Stevens was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second week in a row and third time this year.
Stevens, a senior guard from Puyallup, Wash., helped the Warriors to three wins last week, including a hard-fought victory over Bushnell University where she tied a career-high with 30 points after scoring the first 15 LC points of the contest. Stevens scored a game-high 26 in the win over Walla Walla University, then added 16 in 24 minutes against Corban University. She averaged 24 points per game in the three wins with a .491 field goal percentage. She made 11 three-pointers and nine free throws. Stevens also had five steals in the game against Corban.
