No. 19-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Callie Stevens was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time this year.
Stevens, a sophomore guard from Puyallup, Wash., helped the Warriors advance to the title game of the CCC Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, with two stellar games. She averaged 22.5 points per game, including a 26-point performance against Bushnell University in the semifinal. She shot 44.4-percent from the floor and was 7-for-10 from the free throw line. Stevens also tallied five assists and four steals in the two games.
